A lot of mentees use “General mentorship” as a catch-all to ask about topics that you haven’t said you’re interested in, which defeats the purpose of allowing mentors to select the topics they’re open to talking about. It would be great to be able to deselect this option instead of having it be required by default.

Not every mentor has the same needs.
Let mentors choose.
I do not see any reason why a choice needs to removed.
It does not hurt or diminish your choices.
I do choose general mentorship.
