Track Session Time Instead of Booking Time
planned

I recently started mentoring on ADPList and have had 3 sessions @ 30min each. This means my "total booking time" is 1.5hrs but is not reflective of my actual mentoring time.
In reality, my call sessions have exceeded the 30min booking time every time... to the point where my most recent call with a mentee was 1.5hrs alone. This means my total mentoring time is closer to 3.5hrs but dashboard only shows 1.5hrs.

Hi all, this is planned ❤️ once we get videos to be stable, it'll be what we will be planning. Rest assured, we've already been calculating the real times (if you're using ADPList video). External videos like Google Meets, Zoom, etc won't be considered (due to lack of APIs from these partners).

Hey, wondering if there’s any update on this as can see my 20 minute session turned in to an hour and my time hasn’t been logged properly?

Hi Felix Lee! I can only agree with other mentors. Each of my booking session last longer then booked. If I could point one thing to make ADPList experience better - that's it.
Cheers!

Adjust session to actual minutes spent

Conversations frequently go beyond the scheduled time on the calendar. It would be helpful to have ability to either:
- automatically adjust actual time in session based on when both mentor/mentee have signed on/off
- mentors manually adjust actual time in session. Trickier, because it would rely on an honor system.

Mentor minutes based on video length

I did 2 mentor sessions. They ran for 45 mins and 60 mins (105 mins). In our dashboard the 2 sessions are counted as 2x30=60mins as those are the official booked slots. Based on the video chat length it should be possible to have 2 stats. Number of sessions and then total video chat time. This will give a more accurate view on mentor time.

Ability to change/indicate how long a call actually lasted.
e.g. either the system logs how long the video call went for (but how to track those times when we leave/rejoin the call to stabilise the video feed 🤔); or, there's an interface element which allows us to log a longer call once it's finished.
Scenario: my calls default to 30min. Often this is enough, especially for first contacts. But I'm also happy for calls to go long should they need to / we're having fun. I've had a few 1h calls recently, and it'd be nice if those 90min extra 'invisible' minutes could be logged on my stats.

James Cook: I also hope we can change/indicate how long the call actually lasted if we're using Meet, Zoom, etc 3rd party sites instead of ADPList's video. I use Google Meet since it's more convenient for calendar syncing.

Felix Lee: what is “ADPList video”? I’m only seeing google meet or Skype as options within ADPList settings
Felix Lee
Taylor Cashdan: These are the options: https://app.adplist.org/calendar/configs/integrate-video-chat

Felix Lee consider that sometimes we start the session on ADPList video, but then move to another platform because it is unstable. Sometimes short sessions simply mean "a bug forced us to move away".
